Repeating emails

You can use Iota Copy for email templating in your internal or user documentation.

For example, you may have a template for an email to the tech support.

To do so, just add Iota Copy macro to the page, check Open email client checkbox, fill To, Cc, Bcc, Subject and Body parameters (Iota Copy: Setting up Macro Parameters) and enjoy opening prepopulated email in one click!

Tip: if your email template should include Confluence UI elements or complex layout, just leave Body parameter empty and add your template directly on the page. The macro will copy your page content, so that after email opening you will be able to paste it into your email template.

Meeting notes

Add Iota Copy to the meeting notes page template and enjoy writing and sharing meeting notes in a single click!

You can also add Iota Copy to other page templates, from architecture decisions discussions to business review presentations.

Note: during template page creation Iota Copy can’t communicate with Confluence, so you will receive notification about it. You can safely ignore it and proceed with template population and further usage.

Complex page sharing

Iota Copy allows you to copy even complex layout with a tons of pictures, macros and layout sections. So, if you’ve created a beautiful Confluence page, but struggle with sharing, don’t hesitate to try Iota Copy.
