Start that Call (Google Meet): Initial Setup
The first time you use Start that Call, you’ll need to connect your Google account and grant the necessary permissions to create Google Meet calls and Google Calendar events. Follow the steps below to complete the setup:
Access Start that Call via the Actions (or Apps) menu, or through the byline item.
When prompted, click “Sign in with Google” to begin the connection process.
A new browser tab will open. If you have multiple Google accounts, select the appropriate one. Sign in if needed.
You’ll be presented with the DSR Plugins Privacy Policy. Review it, then click “Continue” to proceed.
Next, you’ll see a list of permissions required for Start that Call to function properly. Please select all requested permissions and click “Continue.”
Finally, you’ll be redirected back to your Atlassian product, and Start that Call will be ready to use.
Data Privacy and Storage Notice
DSR does not store any data related to your meetings. All meeting-related information is securely stored within the Atlassian infrastructure.
Furthermore, DSR does not have access to the content of your meetings. Links to recordings and transcripts are provided as-is, without DSR accessing or storing the actual content.
Google Workspace Notice
A Google Workspace subscription is required to access recordings and transcripts in Google Meet.
