Pi Track: Reporting

Pi Track adds a Time Reports menu item to the Jira header.

This menu provides access to standard time reports available to all users, recently used reports, and actions to view all reports or create new ones.

Standard Time Reports

The following standard reports are available to every user:

  • My Time Logs This Week - a detailed list of time logs for the current week.

  • My Time Logs Last Week - a detailed list of time logs for the previous week.

  • Time Logs on Project Lead by Me - review time logs for projects where you have the Project Lead role.

  • Time Logs for Review - time logs pending your approval.

  • Daily Time Logs This Week - a matrix-style report that supports lightweight time logging for the current week. This report is recommended for use as a Jira dashboard gadget.

  • My Draft and Rejected Time Logs - a detailed report showing time logs that require changes from you.

Reports list

Click View All Reports to open a page showing all Pi Track reports available to you, including both your own and shared reports.

From this page, you can search for reports, open them, or manage reports you created by configuring, cloning, or deleting them.

Each timesheet report can be exported to Excel. Just open the report and click Export → Excel.

Create report

Click Create Report to open a dialog where you can select one of the available report views. The selected view can be changed later.

Table View provides the most detailed view and supports deep customization.

Matrix view groups data into a compact table format.

Daily view is optimized for improved date readability.

After selecting a view, you will be taken to the report configuration screen.

The configuration screen contains three tabs: General, View, and Share.

General - set the report name and description, choose which time logs to include (approved, pending, draft, or rejected), define the reporting period, include or exclude specific users, and select Jira issues using a saved filter.

View - configure the report layout, choose which fields to display, and define sorting and grouping rules.

Share - control who can view or edit the report you created.
